An opportunity has arisen for a Head Chef to join The Kings Hotel, our 3AA Rosette Hotel in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.

The Jackrabbit Restaurant, with its golden stone, beamed ceilings and a huge candle strewn open fireplace sets the scene for an evening of cosy dining.
We deliver modern British food with a contemporary twist in our Jackrabbit Restaurant. Not so much a revival of old dishes, but a re-interpretation, often with an element of fusion. Our Chefs pay great attention in sourcing the best local suppliers to ensure we use only the finest quality ingredients.
Under the creative eye of our talented team of Chefs, you will encounter culinary delights such as roast Cornish loin, braised barley, chicken wing, smoked squash and BBQ leeks.

What you’ll be doing?
As Head Chef, you will be an essential member of the food and beverage team, dedicated to providing exceptional quality by leading a team of culinary professionals in creating spectacular dishes that will create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
You will ensure the effective and efficient management and delivery of the kitchen, with the aim of offering high and consistent standards of cuisine. At the same time ensuring all staff are trained and developed to the required standard and that budgeted Gross Profit Margins are met and exceeded.
Monitoring the quality of the food leaving the kitchen is key, whilst also taking appropriate action where necessary to ensure total guest satisfaction.
What you’ll need?
You will be a highly motivated individual who can demonstrate success at this level, ideally someone who has worked in this or a similar role in a high-quality established Restaurant or Hotel and is looking for a fresh challenge, or a Sous Chef looking for a step up.
A passion for fine ingredients and excellent presentation is a must. Your menu will have flair and creativity resulting in a high standard of consistency and profitability, delivering a service that creates an ambiance second to none.
You must be able to display excellent management of people and control whilst developing and driving your team to excellence.
