Our employee training includes environmental aspects such as how to reduce energy, water and waste. Lift sharing and combined journeys wherever possible are also encouraged and with regards to public areas that are not in use, lights, radiators and all computers and office equipment are turned off at night.
Please help us in our mission by participating in our linen reuse program (to reduce our energy and water consumption). We also kindly ask that any TV’s, lights and radiators are switched off when our bedrooms are not in use.
We work closely with our chosen waste supplier and recycle as much glass, paper, cardboard, plastic and food waste that we can. We also encourage emails in favour of post and are gradually introducing systems based on e-format.
Wherever possible, we source and promote product ranges that minimise the environmental impact during production and distribution, such as purchasing cleaning chemicals with a low environmental impact, recyclable products and equipment. We also communicate our priorities to our suppliers with regards to products, packaging and deliveries.
Supporting the local community is important to us. We love to work with local schools, charities and suppliers; we employ locally where possible and source products from local suppliers where we can.
