Overview
To ensure guests needs are met before, during and after their meal and/or stay in the hotel whilst ensuring exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
Main Responsibilities
- To ensure that the agreed standards of service, cleanliness and security are maintained in all areas.
- Through staff training ensure the safe and correct use of equipment and cleaning materials.
- To be fully conversant with all menu items
- To be fully conversant with the wine list and keep up to date with any amendments
- To be fully aware and competent in making all beverages offered
- To take customer orders correctly and promptly
- To advise customers correctly and confidently on their choices
- Carry out all mise en place for the week ahead according to function sheets
- To be available to attend to customers needs and ensure the highest standards of customer care at all times.
- To assist with functions when needed
- To carry out any reasonable requests made by a member of management / directors
- To maintain the highest standard of professionalism, ethics and attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Assist with achieving IIP status for the hotel
- To promote the image of Eden Hotel Collection as a professional organisation
